PegNet 2.0 FAQ
Common Answers To Common Questions
1. How Often Are Staking Rewards Paid?
A. FCT version pAssets — No minimum amount of pAssets to get rewarded (even $1 is rewarded) paid every 144 blocks.
B. FCT version of PEG — Top 100 PEG addresses can report oracles and get Staking reward. Paid each block a Oracle Staker wins.
C. ETH version pAssets — No minimum amount of pAssets to get rewarded (even $1 is rewarded) paid last day of every month.
D. ETH version PEG — No minimum amount of pAssets to get rewarded (even $1 is rewarded) paid last day of every month.
2. How Do You Stake PEG?
3. How many PEG Are Rewarded via Staking?
All PEG Rewards Flow Through the FCT version of pAssets and PEG.
FCT version pAssets — 4,500 PEG per block, 648,000 PEG per day.
FCT version PEG — 4,500 PEG per block, 648,000 PEG per day.
As for ETH version PEG & pAssets the rewards that build up in the gateway contract pay out the last day of every month to all PEG & pAsset holders in their ETH addresses.
4. Will my PEG or pAssets on exchanges get Staking Rewards?
The ONLY exchange that has announced Staking Rewards for PegNet is Smart Valor https://smartvalor.com/en/ as they are support the ERC20 version of PEG.
So the answer for any other exchange is, ASK them directly about their policy. If they are supporting FCT version of PEG they would have to be running the oracles to earn PEG Staking rewards for their users.
